Company is coming: Preparing your home for Holiday guests

'Tis the season for out-of-town guests! We've put together some ideas for making your home feel festive and welcoming for friends and family. First up, creating a holiday table that sparkles, and ultimately transcends this season! These core "ingredients" are perfect for creating a beautiful dining table for any occassion.

Unsure of how to start creating your tablescape? Here are a few tips to get started! The items we have shown are for inspiration - you can just as well layer in your own special pieces to create a unique table to fit perfectly in your home!

Don't forget to prepare the rest of your home for guests too!

We love to make guests feel welcome with a personized gift basket filled with things to help them relax, and of course, their favorite wine. We have a wonderful recipe for a homemade sugar scrub that makes an easy DIY Christmas gift on its own, or as part of a welcome basket like this one! Stay tuned for the simple recipe, created by my daughter, Anya!

A plush robe, soft towels, and luxe personal care products create a spa-like guest bath.

Creating a little coffee bar in their room is another way to make them feel special. Be sure to stock some favorite local roastery's beans!
